JULI TURPIN

Juli Turpin Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, trained in London now living in Boston where the environment is amazingly conducive to health and healing.

Growing up on the stunningly beautiful west coast of Ireland an affinity with the natural world was intrinsic to life. Through this I learned to appreciate the intimate relationship between nature and health. In addition, the Irish tradition of ancient myth and storytelling imparted a belief in the power of narrative. This later translated into a desire to listen to the stories our bodies tell. This deep connection to my heritage greatly influences me today and forms the cornerstone of my work.

I am a practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Bach Flower Essences and Ayurveda. This combination of modalities provides a comprehensive lens which enables me to perceive a person on all levels of their being, from the physical to the energetic. My deepest intention is to help you uncover the root cause of what brought you to me.

My first foray into practitioner training began with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. This profoundly gentle hands-on approach views the body as an interconnected ecosystem, where the subtle rhythms of the cerebrospinal fluid reflect our state of health and wellbeing.

My ongoing exploration led me to Bach Flowers, a system of 38 Flower Essences which address emotional and spiritual imbalances. Integrating this system into my practice has allowed me to address the emotional roots of physical ailments, recognizing the profound interplay between mind and body.

The ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the Indian system of medicine, further enriched my understanding of holistic healing. Ayurveda recognizes the unique consititution of the individual and provides a framework for understanding the body’s elemental composition and its dance with the surrounding world.

It was my keen interest for digging inward that drew me to this work, of discovering ways to go to the places in myself where I least wanted to go. I believe it’s in these shadowy recesses of our being where our ultimate potential lies. It’s only through going there ourselves that we can hope to gently guide others.

For healing to occur you need to feel safe. This means an environment free of judgement or any need on the part of the practitioner to fix or change anything. When we operate from a place of deep trust in and reverence for our bodies’ innate ability to heal and balance, we open ourselves to a potential far beyond what our minds can grasp.

Education wise I have a Degree in Applied Languages (French & German) and a Postgrad in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology. When I’m not working, I enjoy time in nature and at home with my family, wild gardening and making art from found objects.
